The Gambia Government’s Cabinet has resolved to introduce strict fiscal measures aimed at saving over a billion Dalasi in 2019 at a special meeting that reviewed the outlook and expected performance of the Gambian economy in 2019.
Briefing the State House media corps, the Minister of Information, Hon. Ebrima Sillah, said the Gambian economy is forecasted to grow by 6.6% by the end of 2018 from 4.6% in 2017.
The cabinet has resolved to implement stricter measures aimed at implementing spending cuts and maximizing the revenue stream of the economy.
