
Eight cops captured in for blackmail, attack

The State Police Order has captured four agents who supposedly attacked three men and blackmailed N6.5m from them.
The men were said to have been arrested from Omoluwabi in the state’s Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area, tagged as Internet crooks, and transported to Delta State, where they were said to have collected the money after being held there for two days.

The state Chief of Police, Emeka Nwonyi, while marching the police officers before writers in Port Harcourt on Monday, said he was striving to free the order of rotten ones.
“You can see some police officers,” Nwonyi stated. They have been in detainment for over two weeks now for an offense. They are not from this order, but rather we captured them to show that we are here to cleanse ourselves.
“I think no other association has been more laxative like the police in tidying up the rotten ones in their framework and I need to be tested on that.”
However, the police chief did not reveal the officers’ identities.
Essentially, Nwonyi marched one more arrangement of four cops, including three Examiners, captured for purportedly attacking a female worker.
He said the cops were on a pause and-search activity when they supposedly attacked the woman around Arcania Intersection, Ada George Street in Port Harcourt on Sunday.
