Davido Opens Up About His Earlier Days As An Artist

Davido recently disclosed that when he first started out as a musician, he used to sleep in a friend’s recording studio.

He admitted that his fierce love for music once compelled him to flee his wealthy family’s $60 million mansion and find refuge in a friend’s recording studio. In an interview, he revealed to REAL 92.3 FM.

In the conversation, Davido admitted that some people had first mistakenly linked his successful musical career to his father’s money.

He underlined, however, that talent and effort finally won people over, removing any skepticism about his ability.

“What was difficult for me was coming out from a wealthy background because people say his dad is in money, but they later agree that the boy is actually good after several records.

“People love the grass to grace and was down but now I’m up story, but I was never really been down bad.

While many people are fascinated by tales of overcoming adversity, Davido made it clear that he had not gone through severe difficulty.

However, he recalled the day he made the decision to forgo the comforts of his opulent Nigerian house and instead choose to spend the night at a friend’s studio.

Davido made this risky choice because he was so determined to pursue music even though he understood that going back home would hinder him.

He said, “We had a $60 million house in Nigeria that I ran away from and was sleeping in my friend’s studio because I know they won’t let me out again once I get home
