The Official Political race Petitions Council, on Wednesday, maintained the appointment of President Bola Tinubu as the champ of the February 25 official political race.
The five-man board of the Council was driven by Equity Haruna Tsammani.
This improvement followed petitions recorded by the People groups Leftist faction and its official up-and-comer Atiku Abubakar; the Work Party and its up-and-comer, Peter Obi, testing the triumph of Tinubu as the victor of the official political race declared by the Autonomous Public Electing Commission on Walk 1.
Tinubu scored a sum of 8,794,726 votes to overcome Atiku and Obi, who surveyed 6,984,520 and 6,101,533 votes, individually.
As indicated by Equity Haruna Tsammani, “This request appropriately needs merit. I avow the arrival of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the appropriately chosen Leader of the Government Republic of Nigeria. The gatherings are to bear their expense. “After that, the petitions submitted by the Peoples Democratic Party’s Atiku Abubakar and the Labour Party’s Peter Obi, challenging President Bola Tinubu’s victory as the winner of the presidential election announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission on March 1, 2023, were unanimously dismissed by the five-person panel of the Tribunal led by Justice Haruna Tsammani.
They incorporate Equity Haruna Tsammani, Equity Stephen Adah, Equity Mistura Bolaji-Yusuf, Equity Boloukuoromo Ugo, and Equity Abba Mohammed.
