The 3DGamGlobal in UK has on December 10, 2018 celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in a grand style. The celebrations, marked in UK, gave an opportune moment to Amadou Marong, the Secretary General and Chairman of 3DGamGlobal to make a powerful presentation on human rights situation around the world as well as its importance to respect and preserve human dignity.
Mr. Marong, whose foundation was setup in the United Kingdom last September in order to radiate goodness in mankind with a plain progressive agenda, talked about the human rights project embarked upon by his organisation.
The organisation, dubbed ‘3D’, which stands for ‘Decision Determine Destiny’, operates as an apolitical, non-religious, and non-ethnic/tribal or section based foundation.
Being the guest speaker of the occasion, Marong delved into the theme; “Let’s Stand up for Equality, Justice and Human Dignity.”
He talked about his organisation’s human rights project which is currently sponsored and is ongoing in The Gambia.
According to him, the human rights project in Gambian schools, being the first of its kind, is being aired on Gambia’s national broadcaster GRTS.
He further described human rights as the basic rights and freedoms to which all humans are considered entitled; ie, the right to life, liberty, freedom of thought and expression, and equal treatment before the law, among others.
